Pearl Vision
For Pearle Vision my tasks as ACD have been to aide delivering voluminous quarterly deliverable batches, including around 20 social posts, 6 radio spots, website rewrites, and print deliverables. I generally came up with the concepting for around 15 of the social each batch, as well as handled the radio, and managed a direct report on the website copy.
With this work you’ll see again what I think is theme for me and my creative design: I like simple, playful ideas that catch attention. The expected in social is programmed that getting attention can really just be something working visually, or moving uniquely, framed unusual, some piece of the unexpected, subtle or upfront, that gets people to go “wait what’s that” whether they know it’s doing so or not. I’m also obsessed with animation. I think maybe I think shortform animation may be my favorite medium. I sketch out these ideas in storyboard boards with photoshop then show them to our fantastic animation team, usually with the question, “Is this something we can do?” And I love hearing yes.
